Hi Sam,
I’m new to the scene and have been listening to all of the podcasts available on this topic for the last month or so. I must honestly tell you that yours has been the most useful, relevant, and helpful podcast that I’ve found - thank you so much for this wonderful resource.
I was hoping you might be able to answer a quick question: should I wait until my site is gathering a good amount of traffic before I start applying to affiliate programs? I’m eager to start and have most of my site up and running, but I’m not sure that I should apply to for affiliate programs when I have little to no traffic. Should I wait to apply? If so, how much traffic do I need to be seriously considered?

Don’t ask me why, but when i see “SciFiTales” I think of “Duck Tales” the disney cartoon series featuring scrooge mcduck and huey, louie and dewey.
The other thought that came to mind was Electronic Arts’ The Bard’s Tale…
